Recipe Camarones a la diabla

Camarones a la Diabla my way.


  • 3 Pounds of Shrimp

  • 3 tbs of butter

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1 1/2 tbs of salt

  • 1/4 cups of lime juice

  • 1/3 cups of Valentina hot sauce (yellow label)

  • 1 tsp Tapatio hot sauce


  1. Wash and rinse the shrimp.

  2. In a big pan add the butter and garlic cloves on medium heat.

  3. When the butter is mostly melted add the shrimp and the salt. DON'T PEEL THE SHRIMP.

  4. When the shrimp is mostly pink add the lime juice and mix the shrimp.

5. Now add the Valentina hot sauce and Tapatio and mix the shrimp.

6.Cover the pan and and lower the heat to medium low. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

7. Taste the shrimp for salt and if they are soft, once the shrimp is soft turn the heat off.
